I made this video to enter Little Kiva's 20,000 competition but you may need to pause the video to read the instructions, it had to be under 2 minutes. I hope you enjoy it and thank you so much to everyone who has subscribed!
When I was thinking about getting some of the Dinair airbrush makeup a few months ago I was really disappointed that I couldn't find any swatches of anything online. So hopefully this will help some of you who may be thinking about trying out a different brand of airbrush makeup and want to see what the colors look like.
I was meant to post this look a couple of days ago but I got a really bad tummy bug and I couldn't even sit up long enough to go on my computer! Thankfully I'm feeling much better today so I can get some things done, it gets so boring lying in bed all day and its such nice weather outside.
Just over a month ago I ordered a few things from Crush Cosmetics. It took five days from when I ordered to receive the package from Australia which is pretty fast, I definitely didn't expect it so soon. Overall I was very happy with the customer service and I wouldn't hesitate to place another order with them in the future!
They even sent a couple of free samples (bottom right corner) which was really nice!
This is the look I wore to go and see the fireworks display in the city. I wanted something really bright (not that anybody could see of course because it was dark) and I wanted to use the latest Sugarpill Palette I bought.
Late last month Sugarpill were offering Monster palettes as a Halloween special. They were factory second palettes that were 40% off and I was lucky enough to snag a Burning Heart palette. I actually only ended up using the orange (Flamepoint) and the yellow (Buttercupcake) from the palette in this look.
I wanted to do something green to go and see Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D and this is what I came up with. I am absolutely in love with the MAC She Who Dares Mineralize Eyeshadow from the Venomous Villains collection, its so gorgeous! My camera wasn't picking up the pretty sparkles so the pictures do not do it justice!
So today was Spirit Day and since I don't own anything purple I decided to do a bold purple look with over the top lashes. Please don't mind the hair, I took these pictures while I was waiting for it to completely dry so I could style it!
I forgot to take a close up of the eyes but you can click on the pictures to enlarge them.
Next up is Make Up For Ever. They didn't have the whole range of products so I ended up only picking up 5 things. I got the HD Blush in #13, the Aqua Creams in #3, #6, #19 and the HD Microfinish Powder (not pictured).
The Aqua Creams are absolutely wonderful as eyeshadow bases. They do not move or crease which is something I was really worried about. I wore the #3 silver from 7am till 10pm and it still looked exactly the same as when I first put it on in the morning! I also used #6 fresh pink as a blush and it didn't fade at all. I will definitely be purchasing more asap!
The HD Blush was great as well, although it does have a scent that you can definitely smell when applying it. It wasn't unpleasant to me at all in fact I loved it but I can see other people hating it. I'll be picking up more of those as well.
So nearly a month ago I flew over to Sydney for my birthday and IMATS. Unfortunately I was really sick for most of the trip but I tried my best to make the most of it. I attended IMATS on the Saturday and of course I felt like absolute death on the one day I had been looking forward to for months. I only stayed for about 2 - 3 hours until I felt like I was going to pass out then I went back to my hotel and slept for the rest of the day.
I didn't take my time to look around properly and there were so many things I missed that I was really excited about!
Green eyes and pink lips is my absolute favourite look and I added a bit of yellow this time which I don't normally do just to mix it up a bit. I ran out of liquidlast liner yesterday and I'm not meant to be spending any money on make up until IMATS Sydney. Oh well at least its only next week!
